Production Manager/Engineer - Ester Quaternary Ammonium Salts.

Role - Production Engineer/ Manager

Location - Malaysia or Indonesia (Working from home immediately)

Salary - Competitive International Salary + Accommodation+ Medical + Bonus

A Singaporean headquartered company, One of Asia's top agribusinesses. This companies' activities include Oleochemicals, biodiesel, and many other consumer products. Over 400 manufacturing plants and a workforce of 70,000+.

This Company is now looking to expand in Ammonium salts and is looking for an expert in this area to assist them to reach the same global heights as other production lines. Initially supporting building the first Salt plat, this role offers an opportunity to grow and work up to managing multiple production lines.

The Role

• New process/ product development relating to the field of ester quaternary ammonium salt OR leading the production in the field of ester quaternary ammonium salt
• Assist in Project Construction with knowledge of Process/product development in ester quaternary ammonium salt
• If you have experience in delivering the projects, you may lead the project from design to construction
• Once construction is complete, you will be required to take over the production and manage the production line and building
• Lead and manage production team and direct them to achieve production target, initiate plans and processes to minimize the manufacturing cost through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, and materials.
• Daily monitoring of process flow and feedback to GM (Operation) on any abnormality.
• Manage and maintain the raw materials and packaging material requirements for production.
• Continually improve safety records by addressing and improving both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
• Ensuring autonomous maintenance and preventive maintenance schedule completed in time.
• Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs.
• Estimating and planning for production staffing, roles & responsibilities, quality standards, information & training needs.

• At least a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry or related field
• More than 6 years' experience working in the field of ester quaternary ammonium salt product development or its production
• Able to lead a team of engineers in a new process/ product development relating to the field of ester quaternary ammonium salt or its production.
• Detail orientated and possessed a good work ethic.
• Able to communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
