Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and available production capacity. Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components. Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules proactively to handle changing priorities or unexpected delays. Communicate production plans and updates to all relevant departments, including sales, quality, production, site, and delivery teams. Work closely with process engineers to optimize production efficiency by minimizing downtime, setup time, and material shortages. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, variances, and improvement opportunities. Support inventory management by aligning production output with demand and stock levels. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and overall operational performance. Prepare regular reports on production performance, forecast accuracy, and capacity utilization. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, manufacturing or related field. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing coordination. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details. Proficiency in ERP/MRP system (preferably SAP). Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment. Strong Microsoft excel and data analysis capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in lean manufacturing or process optimization Knowledge of ISO9001 on QMS. Familiarity with capacity planning and material requirement planning (MRP) Generate relevant documents & report for process improvement activities Provide trainings to the team for process improvement activities

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
