Job Description

Requirements:

Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software. Proficiency in using production planning and inventory management software/tools. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors. Proficiency in SQL system and all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data to make informed decisions. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

Work with management in coordinating and planning production activities to improve runtime. Analyse back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations. Develops manufacturing work orders in accordance with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) planned order requirements; guides manufacturing on action(s) to be taken. To be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the production process. Monitor day-to-day production performance and delivery schedule. Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met. Estimating the amount of material, equipment, and labour required for production. Notify Sales of any schedule impacts to customers, complete status reports, such as production progress, customer information, and materials inventory. Coordinate between the production program and production sites for on-time delivery of products. Collaborate with production managers to ensure optimum productivity and timely completion of orders. Responsible for creating Purchase Request (PR), Purchase Order (PO), and Goods Received (GR) into the system. Responsible for establishing or implementing existing Working Instruction (WI).
