One of the largest metal manufacturing companies with over 50 years of industrial experience is recruiting for a Production Planning Executive (Global Manufacturing) to manage the coordination of the production schedule to ensure all materials and production are meeting the Master Production Schedule.

About the Production Planning Executive (Global Manufacturing) Role:
In this position, you will be responsible to ensure all production schedules are met while coordinating material, machine, and manageable workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning schedule of coated finished products to ensure order schedule of customers are met
• Ensure schedule is carried out in the most effective and efficient manner to achieve on-time delivery
• Carry out plant wide housekeeping to maintain optimum level of inventory stocks and reduce ageing stocks
• Plan and issue daily work schedule to operations team and manage paint schedule with paint house for coated products
• Work together with procurement team on the requirements of packaging materials

To succeed in the Production Planning Executive (Global Manufacturing) role, you will need to have experience in production coordination in heavy manufacturing industry and able to effectively resolve related gaps.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics/Engineering/Economics/Business or related field of study
• Minimum of two years' working experience in production planning within heavy metal industry
• Strong willed, self-motivated, strong inter-personal skills and have good communication skills
• Strong in analytical skills
• Experience in inventory, material management or warehousing is an added advantage
