The Production & Purchasing Assistant supports daily production activities and office administration tasks. This role assists in coordinating orders with suppliers, preparing basic purchase documents, and ensuring materials are available for production. The position also involves simple administrative duties such as filing, record keeping, and basic communication with vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials as required for production.
Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery records.
Liaise with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery dates, and prices.
Monitor stock levels and update simple inventory records.
Support the production team by tracking order progress and timelines.
Maintain filing systems for production and purchasing documents.
Assist with general office duties such as data entry, printing, and correspondence.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely updates.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma in Fashion, Textile, Design, Business, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of working experience in production, purchasing, or related roles (fashion industry experience is an advantage).
Experience dealing with suppliers or vendors.
Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow up on multiple tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
