Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking

Production Supervisor

to lead our production team in the factory. You will help manage daily production work, make sure safety rules are followed, keep track of materials and tools, and help keep the factory clean and running smoothly

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Output Management

Schedule production plan. Supervise production operations. Ensure tasks are completed on time while adhering to our QC standards. Ensure incoming materials tallies with purchase lists. Ensure proper labelling of incoming and outgoing materials. Maintain accurate daily records of work orders. Resolve issues relating to equipment or processes during production. Constant review of production processes and equipment to increase productivity.

Personnel Management

Allocate production staff and equipment resources reasonably to improve production efficiency. Conduct regular grading to monitor individual performance. Supervise employees' compliance with safety production regulations. Implement and maintain 5S standards.

Equipment and Facility Management

Work with Competent Person to ensure machines and equipment placement and relocation complies to DOE requirements. Work with Engineering team to procure and install machines. Maintain and calibrate equipment and forklifts.

Cost and Efficiency Management

Control labour cost such as overtime and claims. Check and restock machine spare parts from the inventory list. Control energy consumption and promote energy and water saving. Manage costs of factory consumables such as tools, PPE and packing materials.

Production Leadership and Training

Guide and train the production team on processes. Motivate the team to achieve production targets. Identify gaps and courses required for team growth.

Safety Compliance

Work with Safety Officer to train production team on safety protocols, emergency response and environmental awareness. Conduct daily briefing and toolbox meetings. Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses to provide timely updates to Safety and Compliance Officer.

Inter-department Projects

Maintain close communication with logistics, laboratory, refining and engineering teams to ensure smooth processes. Participate in trial production with new process and equipment. Participate in process optimisation and equipment modification projects. Perform other duties as required on ad-hoc basis.

Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred. Good communication skills. Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing environment. Mandarin speaking skills to work with stakeholders. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Problem solving skills and positive attitude. 5.5 day work week.
