Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team of Manufacturing Specialists (Operators and Technical Specialists) in executing assembly processes. This role is critical in achieving business goals related to building schedules, shipment targets, quality, productivity, cycle time, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field.

2. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in assembly line or related manufacturing environments.

3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

4. Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

5. Proven ability to implement and sustain process improvements.

6. Experience in battery manufacturing is an added advantage.

7. Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead daily shift meetings to address yield, quality, productivity, housekeeping, and operational concerns.

2. Plan and allocate resources (manpower, materials, equipment, space) to meet production schedules and cost/quality targets.

3. Ensure adherence to SPC tools, process specifications, control plans, and test procedures to maintain product quality.

4. Drive compliance with safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards, including 5S and World Class Manufacturing practices.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operators, technicians, engineers, trainers) to enhance workforce capability and resolve production issues.

6. Deploy production goals and KPIs to teams and individuals; initiate corrective actions to meet targets.

7. Lead structured improvement initiatives to enhance line performance and efficiency.

8. Act as Emergency Response Team Commander (training provided).

9. Ensure compliance with PSCS (Product Safety & Compliance Standards) policies and procedures.

10. Accountable to take appropriate disciplinary actions in cases of non-compliance with attendance, housekeeping, or safety standards, in accordance with company policies

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
