Job Description

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR



Supervise the entire production process from start to finish, including cutting, welding, bending, routing, spraying, forklift handling, and packaging(finishing). Ensure production schedules are followed and that quantity and quality targets set by the company are achieved. Plan, supervise, and ensure all production activities are carried out in accordance with standards, SOPs, and safety regulations. Monitor the use of machines, equipment, and raw materials while minimizing waste and improving cost efficiency. Manage the production workforce comprehensively, including work schedules, leave, overtime, and shift planning. Supervise both individual and team performance, providing training, guidance, and continuous skill development. Resolve disciplinary issues, boost team motivation, and ensure employees adhere to process discipline and the company's code of conduct. Ensure every employee is equipped with PPE, fully understands SOPs, and performs tasks safely in accordance with instructions. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA), Safety (SSS), and Quality Control (QC) departments to reduce Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and enhance product standards. Support the Maintenance team by providing necessary tools, spare parts, and recording the movement of components for repair purposes. Manage requests from the Production and Maintenance teams, particularly from work leaders, to ensure the availability of required materials and prevent operational disruptions. Conduct operational and production briefings to accelerate decision-making and task execution. Conduct quality inspections at every stage, from the initial process to the final product. Identify and resolve product defects, ensuring finished goods meet customer specifications. Prepare daily/weekly quality reports and implement corrective actions in cases of customer complaints or product rejections. Enforce proper use of PPE, safe work procedures, and compliance with factory safety regulations. Monitor the working environment to ensure the factory remains clean, organized, comfortable, and free from accident risks. Supervise the maintenance of fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and other safety equipment. Safeguard employee welfare, including providing attention and support to workers who are sick or injured. Supervise the periodic maintenance schedule for machines and equipment. Assist the Maintenance team in identifying technical issues and resolving breakdowns promptly. Conduct root cause analysis of problems and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurring failures. Review, verify, and record all daily production activities across departments. Prepare production reports, stock reports, quality reports, and employee attendance reports. Carry out daily statistical work, analyze data, and propose process improvements. Provide weekly/monthly performance reports for management and auditors. Supervise the product delivery process to ensure customer orders are fulfilled completely without omissions. Control the arrangement of finished stock and inventory in the warehouse to keep it organized and easily accessible. Manage logistics requests and maintenance team requirements, including driver scheduling, stock movement, and urgent deliveries. Implement 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices within the production area. Support lean manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and optimize working time. Recommend operational cost-saving measures, including reducing scrap, rework, and machine downtime. Lead continuous improvement projects and provide related training to the team. Lead annual stock-taking activities and oversee the control of production equipment. Act as a mediator between employees and management in resolving workplace issues. Ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Conduct, internal regulations, and SOPs. Support management in additional tasks, including audits, ISO documentation, and other requirements.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
