They ensure that manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards. Key duties include managing production schedules, supervising production staff, monitoring performance, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires effective leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize workflows to meet production goals and deadlines.Responsibilities:

  • Do planning, monitoring, and appraising job results for his/ her reporting. Include coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • At the same time to initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage resources (technicians, tools and equipment) in order to meet planned delivery.
  • Championing Kaizen activities amongst the production team members. Encourage, execute and implement ideas to improve workplace condition, quality level (roll through put yield, RTY) and reduce operating cost through savings.
  • Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
  • Creates and revises systems and procedures (JES, SOS documents and ISO documents) by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and personnel requirements; implementing change.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures (5S and OSHAS 18001).
  • Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • To comply with all environmental, health & safety standards and policies.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree / Diploma in Science or Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role in an electro-mechanical systems manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience in supervisory of at least 50 subordinates
