Role Description: Production Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our food production facility. The Production Supervisor will ensure smooth production flow, maintain product quality, meet daily output targets, and uphold safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in food manufacturing, and the ability to motivate and guide production teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Coordination

Plan and schedule production activities to meet daily targets and quality standards. Coordinate manpower allocation across production lines to ensure smooth operations. Monitor real-time production efficiency and ensure performance meets planned output. Troubleshoot production issues and resolve deviations promptly to optimize productivity.

People Management & Training

Recruit, train, and develop production operators to ensure competency and adherence to company standards. Supervise, motivate, and monitor employee performance and discipline. Manage staff attendance, lateness, and absenteeism in coordination with HR. Conduct on-the-job training to build technical and safety awareness among team members.

Quality, Hygiene & Safety Control

Ensure machinery, tools, and work areas are sanitized before and after production. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and 5S in production areas. Ensure safety procedures are followed to prevent industrial accidents. Identify quality issues and communicate with QA for corrective action.

Administrative & Reporting Duties

Maintain accurate production records, forms, and reports. Ensure efficient use of production resources to achieve maximum output. Accompany workers to clinic or hospital during working hours when necessary. Support CSR activities and perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and team management abilities Knowledge of F&B manufacturing processes Good communication in English and Malay (Mandarin is an advantage) Proficient in Microsoft Office and production documentation Problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills Physically fit and willing to work shifts or overtime

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma or equivalent in any field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably F&B) Experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role is preferred Computer literate and familiar with production reporting systems

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achieve daily scheduled production targets Maintain zero customer complaints or product returns Reduce production downtime and waste Ensure compliance with Halal, HACCP, GMP, and ISO 9001:2015 standards Maintain 5S housekeeping, safety, and hygiene requirements Participate in risk assessment and report safety incidents promptly

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
