Provide leadership and directions for the activities of the assigned Operations group to safely achieve production goals within cost standards.
Coordinate production to meet customer demands ensuring that products are made safely, have high quality, and are delivered on time.
Provide an accident-free workplace; maintain a safe work environment and ensure behavioral safely initiatives are completed.
Key Responsibilities & Job Content
Train and manage a production staff to ensure all crews and work with effective and efficient.
Provide direct supervision to all production line crews and complete employees annual performance review.
Responsible for employee scheduling and time keeping, administering employee correct action as needed, and participates in hiring process.
Responsible to ensure the Hot End and Cold End process is operated as per work instructions and operating procedures by achieve PKF targets and Quality objectives.
Responsible to ensure the production process are operated efficiently with minimum downtime \xe2\x80\x93 Meet maximum budgeted capacity with lower than budgeted process stops.
Communicate with other shift supervisors to ensure smooth shift transition.
Maintain a clean organized work area by following 6s rules and department housekeeping procedures.
Promote and ensure a safe environment and environmental compliance. Includes performing accident investigations in a timely manner and engage his/her team in creating a safe work environment.
Apply lean manufacturing best practices and drive continuous improvement with people and processes.
Ensure and maintain daily records are well documented, accurate and reliable.
Ensure that products are manufactured as per product specifications and meet the quality standards.
Raise Corrective Action Request (CAR) to relevant department if detecting any non-conformity products or process during incoming, in process and outgoing process.
Identify and discuss the training needs for each of the workforce.
Ensure employees are trained on the job and developed continuously to increase the performance competency.
Monitor and follow up on subordinate\xe2\x80\x99s absenteeism, tardiness, sick leave, and unpaid leave and notify HRD on next disciplinary action to be taken.
Provide support to other functions in the plant organization where needed.

Communication & Working Relationships
Reports directly to the Production Team Lead and Production Manager.
Maintain constructive and proactive working relationships within others supervisor, Engineering team, Production Planning team, Supply Chain team and other relevant department.
Direct Reports: Leading hands and operators.

Skills & Experience \xe2\x80\x93 Essential
At least 3 years manufacturing experience working in a supervisory role, experience working with heavy industries will be added plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.
Knowledge, understanding and implementation of process improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objective.
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.

Education:
Minimum Diploma or Professional Certificate (SKM) in manufacturing or any other related studies.
