Role Overview

The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily production activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved. This role involves managing manpower, monitoring production processes, resolving basic operational issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet planned output targets Assist in managing production schedules, manpower planning, and workflow to ensure efficiency Ensure all production processes comply with established SOPs, quality standards, and safety regulations Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot basic production or process issues Prepare daily production reports, maintain accurate records, and conduct proper shift handovers Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness Train, guide, and monitor production operators on work procedures, quality requirements, and safety practices Liaise with maintenance, quality assurance, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations Identify production issues and escalate to management when necessary

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of production processes, SOPs, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations Experience in manpower planning, shift scheduling, and production coordination Basic knowledge of machine operations and troubleshooting Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Able to work in shifts and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Proficient in basic documentation and reporting (e.g. production reports, Excel) Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
