Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily output targets and delivery schedules.
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with
SOP
,
Work Instructions
, and production specifications.
Monitor machine performance, workflow efficiency, and material usage to minimize downtime and waste.
Conduct shift handover meetings and ensure smooth communication between shifts.
People Leadership
Lead, guide, and motivate production operators and technicians to achieve shift performance goals.
Manage workforce planning including
shift scheduling, task assignments, and overtime management
.
Conduct on-the-job training for new team members and monitor competency development.
Maintain employee discipline, attendance, and team morale in line with company policies.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure production outputs meet
quality standards and customer specifications
.
Perform in-process inspections and collaborate with
QC/QA
teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure strict compliance with
ISO / GMP / 5S
standards and company procedures.
Investigate product non-conformance issues through
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
and corrective actions.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Enforce workplace safety procedures and promote a
zero-incident culture
.
Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure proper machine and tool handling.
Report and escalate any incidents, near misses, or unsafe practices immediately.
Work closely with the
EHS Department
on safety improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
Implement
Lean Manufacturing
and
5S
practices on the production floor.
Support projects focused on waste reduction, efficiency, and productivity improvements.
Analyze daily production data and prepare shift performance reports.
Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvement actions to management.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
in
Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Production Technology
or related field.
Minimum 1-3 years
experience in a manufacturing environment;
supervisory experience preferred
.
Experience in
paper manufacturing, printing, or FMCG
production is an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,400.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
