Job Description

The Operations team partners closely with ResMed's five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.

The primary role of Production & Assembly function is to manufacture, assemble and pack products. Key deliverables include, managing the day-to-day production & planning functions for manufacturing whilst supporting changing demands. Programming, set-up, and monitoring of the production equipment/processes and performing assembly operations. Performing Quality control checks of Incoming and finished goods. Ensuring compliance to ResMed's Quality, OH&S, GMP policies and regulatory requirements.

Safety and Quality

Responsible to develop and sustain a safe and quality based working environment by ensuring the appropriate application of policy, process control procedure and legislative obligations applicable to the business

People Management and Development

Ensures that employees are fully and appropriately trained, understand and comply with all aspects of Quality Management System (QMS), company policy, values and performance expectations

Provides consistent and integrated people and performance management of employees consistent with prevailing organisational policy

Operations Management

Analysis and planning of daily production schedules and resource to optimize safety, quality and output

Lead cross-functional team to resolve problem and drive improvement in safety, quality, output and culture

Identifies and recommends improvements in operational performance, processes and systems

Establishes and maintains effective communication mechanisms by ensuring sustainable relationships within the team and other business functions consistent with Company Culture and Values and competency frameworks

Ensure that appropriate measures are in place to protect intellectual property and ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory and other business systems

Contributes to the development and ensures the implementation of plans to meet current and future operational demand

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 3-4 years of related experience in production
