UCSI University\'s De Institute of Creative Arts and Design - or better known by its acronym ICAD - is an exceptional place to learn and explore the visual arts, art history, and art education.

Catering to the needs of the rapidly changing creative industry, ICAD offers unique art and design programmes that seek to equip students with fundamental knowledge, creativity and competencies needed in today\'s dynamic marketplace. Under the tutelage of experienced academics, students are schooled in industry know-how and continue to hone their creative growth and expression, as well as, intellectual challenge.

ICAD prides itself as an institution that is tenacious in its commitment to design excellence and has established a strong reputation for tie-ups with the industry. In line with the University\'s Praxis\xc2\xae model - an approach that advocates the application of theory to practice, ICAD makes industry learning its central priority through internships, international programs and competitions, curriculum and workshops in order to prepare students for future careers in the arts.

Responsibilities

This position requires commitment to teaching, research & scholarly activities and contribution to programme administration and management.

Requirements

Specialize in one of the following areas:

• Art and Design
• Digital Media
• 3D Animation Design
• Fashion Design
• Graphic Design
• Multimedia Design
• Game Design

Professional experience and qualifications:

• At least a PhD degree or currently pursuing PhD will have an added advantage.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
