Job Description

The Project Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing SAP systems within the Accounting & Finance department to ensure seamless and efficient Accounting and Controlling processes.
Your main job duties will include;

• Support and enhance SAP systems (mainly FI/CO) while contributing to various finance project deployments.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver SAP integrations and broader finance process improvements.
• Analyse processes and recommend enhancements using SAP and other finance tools.
• Provide support for SAP issues and assist with general finance project tasks.
• Maintain documentation for SAP and finance project activities.
• Participate in upgrades, testing, and implementation across multiple projects.
• Train users on SAP and new finance tools or processes.
• Ensure compliance across all SAP and finance project work.

A successful Project Accountant should have:

• Strong expertise in SAP accounting and controlling modules.
• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in analyzing and optimizing financial business processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to train and support end-users effectively.
• Knowledge of Financial Services industry practices is an advantage.
