Job Description

Project Architect is responsible for architectural design planning and implementation of the assigned projects. Ultimately, you will be assisting in developing design plans and monitoring the project implementation at all construction stages to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. You will be responsible for: Manage small-scale projects or assist the Lead/Senior Architect on larger projects. Supervise and examine design drawings produced by draughtsmen. Supervise Graduate Architect and assist senior team members with the analysis of information, production of designs and computations. Assist in preparing specifications, proposals and other documentation under close supervision along with applying a variety of standard methods and techniques in solving problems to complete the tasks. Accountable for submitting high-quality work accurately including routine letters, reports, standard documentation, presentations, etc. Execute and maintain plans and systems related to design and ISO for all projects. Conduct tender interviews and analysis when required. Manage site coordination, review and inspection. Monitor construction works of contractors and construction personnel. Manage the liaison with clients, consultants and local authorities. Review and analyse architectural inputs that apply to construction drawings and plans. Ensure the BIM input and output are accurate and able to generate information and quantity for verification purposes. Monitor design aspects of the construction works to ensure the sites implement the respective designs according to the endorsed design drawings. Ensure the building design is in compliance with all the local authority requirements and meets the timeline to obtain CCC. To be successful for the role: Master\'s Degree/Degree in Architecture or other equivalent fields. Minimum 5 years of working experience as a full-time Engineer, with a minimum of 4 years of construction site or consultancy experience related to M&E design and layout. Proven experience in big-scale commercial and public building projects. In-depth knowledge of design, construction and building systems. Well-versed in BIM modeller or relevant software regarding building and infrastructure design. Well-versed in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or relevant software. Past completion of international projects is preferred. Past completion of hospitality projects is also preferred.
