Job Description

Coordinate the logistical, administrative, and operational aspects of construction projects, including liaising with clients on project requirements and progress updates. Plan and sequence construction activities and assign manpower for site operations. Attend meetings, handle project correspondence, and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to address design, technical, or site-related matters during the construction phase. Oversee site personnel and monitor subcontractors' work performance to ensure compliance with project requirements. Perform quality control inspections in both the fabrication workshop and on-site locations. Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and consumables. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project timelines, and budget constraints. Identify and resolve project delays, technical issues, and on-site challenges in a timely manner. Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures across all construction sites. Control inventory levels and ensure proper upkeep and servicing of tools and equipment. Prepare, organize, and maintain documentation required for inspections, site activities, and variation or claim submissions. Provide consistent progress reports and updates to the project team. Prepare Method of Statement (MOS) and Method Statement Risk Assessment (MSRA) documents for client review and approval. Anticipate potential project risks and issues, and collaborate with the team to recommend effective solutions. Perform additional duties as assigned when required.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably within the structural steel industry. Diploma or higher qualification in a related discipline. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with AutoCAD or Tekla software is an added advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with local and overseas clients. Willing and able to work in outdoor and on-site environments. Five-day work week.
