Handle the logistical, administrative, and operational coordination of construction projects, including communicating with customers on requirements and project updates.
Organize work sequences and allocate manpower for on-site construction activities.
Participate in meetings and manage correspondence; coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve design or site-related issues throughout the construction stage.
Supervise on-site workers and oversee subcontractors' performance.
Conduct quality inspections and checks both in the workshop and at project sites.
Ensure manpower, materials, and consumables are utilized efficiently.
Ensure projects are executed according to approved drawings, schedules, and budgets.
Troubleshoot delays, technical matters, and site challenges when they occur.
Enforce adherence to safety procedures at all construction sites.
Manage inventory and ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
Prepare and compile documentation required for inspections, site work, and claims.
Provide regular updates on work progress to the project team.
Prepare MOS and MSRA materials for client presentation.
Proactively highlight potential project issues and work with the team to propose solutions.
Carry out any other tasks assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the structural steel sector.
Diploma or higher academic qualification in a related field.
Skilled in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or Tekla will be an advantage.
Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin (to interact with customers locally and overseas).
Comfortable working in outdoor site environments.
5-day work week.
