The Project Development Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, evaluating, and executing engineering projects from concept to completion. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring technical feasibility, preparing project documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Project Development & Planning
Participate in early-stage project planning, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations.
Translate project requirements into technical specifications and engineering plans.
Prepare project proposals, schedules, and cost estimations.
B. Engineering Design & Execution
Develop and review engineering drawings, prototypes, and specifications.
Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Support product development, testing, validation, and optimization processes.
C. Project Coordination
Monitor project progress to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Communicate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams regarding technical issues.
Prepare project reports, documentation, and change management records.
D. Technical Support & Improvement
Provide technical solutions and troubleshooting during development and implementation phases.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Suggest improvements to processes, design, and project workflow.
E. Compliance & Standards
Ensure all project activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project life cycle.
3. Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
Experience in product development, project engineering, or related roles.
Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and project management tools is a plus.
