Job Summary



The Store Development Manager is responsible for

planning, coordinating, and overseeing the development of new F&B, QSR, or retail outlets across Malaysia.

This role ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, local regulations, and safety requirements. The manager is hands-on and execution-driven, ensuring smooth store openings and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities



1. Project Planning & Execution



Lead end-to-end store opening projects, including new outlets, relocations, and renovations. Prepare project timelines, budgets, and resources; drive execution to meet opening deadlines. Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing) to ensure operational readiness.

2. Fit-Out & Vendor Management



Manage contractors, designers, and vendors to ensure high-quality fit-outs. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks during construction and fit-out phases. Ensure projects comply with Malaysian building codes, health & safety regulations, and landlord requirements.

3. Leasing & Landlord Coordination



Manage lease agreements, approvals, and handovers with landlords. Ensure timely store handover and readiness for operations. Address lease or vendor-related issues promptly and escalate if needed.

4. Multi-State Store Openings



Plan and execute store openings across multiple Malaysian states (e.g., Penang, Johor, Melaka, East Coast, Sabah/Sarawak). Travel to site locations as needed to monitor and support project execution.

5. Reporting & Documentation



Maintain project documentation, budgets, and approvals. Provide regular progress reports to senior management. Conduct post-opening evaluations to ensure operational and quality standards are met.

Job Requirements / Qualifications



Minimum

5-7 years' experience

in store development or project management (F&B/retail preferred). Personally involved in opening at least

30 F&B outlets

throughout career. Strong knowledge of

project management, budgeting, and vendor coordination

. Excellent

communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

. Ability to

manage multiple projects simultaneously

and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in

Microsoft Office

and project management tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Willingness to travel:
