Candidates must have prior Data Centre project experience through to completion, Malaysian nationality, and fluency in Chinese due to the end client being from Mainland China.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced

Project Director

to lead regional data centre projects--overseeing teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver outcomes that exceed client expectations. You'll manage all project phases, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while fostering collaboration and accountability across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the PMC Team, project stakeholders, risks, and variations to ensure successful delivery.
- Understand client expectations and deliver within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters.
- Ensure compliance with client governance and reporting standards.
- Conduct regular project and site meetings, and oversee constructability and value engineering reviews.
-Support vendor and consultant procurement, coordination, and performance management.
- Resolve design and material issues promptly.
- Track and manage key project documents, ensuring timely approvals and closure.

-Lead and coordinate Client-direct vendors and consultants, escalating non-compliance when required.

Requirements:

-Fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
-Minimum 10+ years' relevant experience, preferably in fast-track or construction environments.
-Strong understanding of newbuild/greenfield project lifecycles.
-Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-Attention to detail, stakeholder management, and customer focus.
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent preferred.
-Proven ability to lead and manage project teams effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM22,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month
