Job Description

PROJECT ENGINEER The responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 1. To assist Project Manager in managing project planning, execution, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. 2. Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. 3. Ensure complete preparation to allow smooth project execution and meet planned schedule. 4. Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field. 5. Assign responsibilities and mentor project team and prepare materials required for projects. 6. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions. 7. Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel\xe2\x80\x99s performance) and report regularly on project status to assist Project Manager. 8. Active participation in work safety related programs and promote safe working environment, ensure complies with WSH regulations and site requirements. 9. Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support. \xe2\x80\xa2 Any other related jobs as assigned. Job Requirement: 1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related disciplines. 2. Experienced in handling multiple projects. 3. Understanding of all facets of the civil, mechanical and construction process. 4. Posses own transportation and willing to travel, within Penang Island and Butterworth. 5. Able to work under pressure and meet project deadline when required. 6. Flexibility and ability to adjust to change includes switching different customer site when needed. 7. Initiative, results orientated, problems analytical and solving skills. 8. Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner. Language Requirements: English: Preferred Mandarin: Is a plus
