Project Engineer

salary rm3000-5000

Location: Bintulu, Sarawak

Position: Project Engineer, Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.

- Ensure all designs meet technical specifications, contractual standards, and client requirements.

- Identify potential project sites and assess challenges such as geography, regulations, and existing infrastructure.

- Coordinate with subcontractors and oversee the construction/implementation phase to ensure adherence to plans.

- Conduct necessary site inspections and manage the project handover process with clients.

- Oversee the allocation and management of project resources, including workforce, equipment, and budget.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, technical advice, and addressing concerns.

- Facilitate project meetings and briefings to ensure alignment among all stakeholders.

- Maintain detailed project documentation (design drawings, site reports, installation records, test results).

- Prepare and submit regular progress reports for clients, stakeholders, and senior management.

- Ensure all systems are fully operational and meet client specifications before handover.

- Address non-compliance issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

- Lead and manage a team of subordinates, delegating tasks and monitoring performance to achieve departmental KPIs.

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is an advantage.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in the construction field, preferably in building construction.

- A valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is a distinct advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
