Focus on technical coordination and resolution of engineering issues on-site, including interpretation of drawings, specifications, and ensuring technical compliance.
To prepare and maintain daily site progress.
To arrange with Machinery Department for mobilise or service and repair of machinery, equipment or plants at job site and other facilities and utilities.
To liaise with Safety Department for implementation and maintain safety requirement at site.
To supervise and monitor sub-contractor progress of work at site.
To check any discrepancies between structure, architecture & M&E drawing and highlight to consultant.
To liaise with Purchasing Manager for purchasing of building materials at site.
To arrange and conduct sub-contractor meeting as well as attend other technical interface meetings with clients and consultants.
To review structural drawings. To prepare and submit Request for Information (RFI) to consultant for inspection.
To vet the approved method statement or work instructions.
To ensure timely submission of shop drawings and follow-up preparation of As-Built Drawings and material samples submission at site.
To carry out quality inspection for work done by sub-contractors at site as well as maintaining such records.
To ensure corrective actions arising from customer complaint and non-conformance is implemented within the stated time frame.
To carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior
To recommend corrective action on work progress and verify claims for project.
To issue site memo and NCRs to sub-contractors.
To close-up all customer complaint, internal and external NCRs by client or consultants.
To reject material delivered to site which is not accordance to specification or poor quality.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
At least 1- 2 year(s) of working experiences in the related field is required for this position.
Required skill(s): MS Office, AutoCad, Primavera
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (added advantage)
