We are a recruitment agency based in Kuala Lumpur looking for potential candidates for our client company. Details as below:

Job Details:

1. Project Planning & Coordination

Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and project requirements related to air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, Chilled Water, Split Units, AHU, FCU, etc.). Plan project execution schedules and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Manage resources -- manpower, materials, and machinery -- to meet project milestones. Prepare method statements and work procedures for HVAC installations.
2. Design & Technical Review

Assist in system design and calculation of cooling loads, duct sizing, and pipe sizing. Select appropriate HVAC equipment (chillers, compressors, air handlers, etc.) according to design and efficiency requirements. Review shop drawings and coordinate M&E services to avoid clashes with structural and architectural elements. Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local MS standards.
3. Site Supervision & Execution

Supervise installation works for air conditioning and ventilation systems. Monitor site progress and ensure workmanship meets quality and safety standards. Conduct inspections for ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment installation. Liaise with authorities and consultants for site inspections and approvals.
4. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

Plan and execute testing and commissioning (T&C) of HVAC systems. Troubleshoot and rectify any defects identified during T&C. Prepare operation & maintenance (O&M) manuals and as-built drawings. Conduct client handover and provide system operation training if required.
5. Cost & Procurement Management

Prepare material take-off (MTO) and equipment lists for procurement. Evaluate supplier quotations and technical submissions. Control project costs by monitoring variation orders and site material usage.
6. Maintenance & After-Sales Support (if applicable)

Provide preventive maintenance planning and scheduling. Diagnose system performance issues and propose energy-efficient solutions. Support facility management in maintaining HVAC performance and reliability.
Key Skills & Competencies

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, chilled water systems, and control systems. Proficient in AutoCAD / Revit MEP / BIM coordination. Familiar with local authority submission requirements (e.g., Suruhanjaya Tenaga, DOSH). Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of M&E integration (plumbing, fire-fighting, and electrical systems).
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
