Job Description

Responsibilities and duties:

1. Site Visit and reporting:

Conduct site visits and prepare detailed site visit reports for clients and contractor. Assess site visits conditions and identify potential challenges and opportunities. Assisting sales department for site visit for mitigation and rectification work.
2. Bill of Material (BOM):

Prepare accurate BOM lists for solar projects and liaise with procurement department. Ensure all necessary materials are included and specified correctly. Making sure the correct material is sent to site with accurate quantity.
3. Project Reporting:

Prepare and submit project progressive reports. Generate weekly activity reports detailing project progress and upcoming tasks.
4. Project Management:

Ensure projects are delivered within the committed schedule. Oversee project installation to ensure it meets quality standards. Coordinate timely project handover to clients. Testing and commissioning. Microsoft project timeline for assigned commercial site. Liaise with C&S consultant for quotation and report.
5. Subcontractor Management:

Manage subcontractors effectively to ensure project milestones are met. Monitor subcontractor performance and address any issues promptly.
6. Additional Duties:

Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time. Panel unloading. Creating a job method statement. Advising and teaching client regarding solar system. Mitigation and rectification as per clients complain.
Requirements:

Academic Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or related field). Previous experience in solar energy or renewable energy industry preferred. Strong knowledge of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems, components and technologies. Proficiency in project management tools and software (Eg: MS Excel, PV Syst). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills: both verbal and written. Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
