Job Description

Responsibilities:

• To understand the construction plan and to follow up on the submission status to obtain approval from the local authorities.
• Have a good connection with JKR, JPS, and other government departments to obtain relevant or extended permits.
• To handle complaints and communicate well with government authorities.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Has basic knowledge of road and bridge construction and is familiar with the permit approval process.
• Able to work 6 day-week.
• Willing to work in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu.

EAST COAST RAIL LINK PROJECT (ECRL)
The East Coast Rail Link Project (also known as \xe2\x80\x9cECRL\xe2\x80\x9c) is one key project under Belt and Road Initiative between China and Malaysia and under construction by China\xe2\x80\x99s state-owned enterprise. The 640KM ECRL is expected to be completed by end of 2026. The route starts at Kota Bharu in Kelantan and ends at Port Klang in Selangor. It will pass through Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Putrajaya Federal Territory. Passengers can have easy access in Putrajaya Central Station to go to Kuala Lumpur International Airport or other places in the east coast.

The ECRL project will become the main transportation line between the east and west coasts, providing comfortable and convenient modes of travel and freight for the public, promoting the development of commerce, logistics, trade and tourism along the railway, improving people\xe2\x80\x99s livelihood, promoting regional development and upgrading local industry competitiveness.
