Manage and coordinate project activities for the Labuan branch, covering planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out phases in line with company standards and project objectives.
Assist in preparing and managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, risks, and quality control to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Liaise closely with HQ, internal departments, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project deliverables meet specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
Conduct regular site visits and provide supervision and technical support during key project activities to ensure safety and operational compliance.
Prepare, update, and track project schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation for all ongoing Labuan projects.
Coordinate and lead project meetings and discussions with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to address progress, challenges, and solutions.
Prepare project documentation including reports, progress updates, completion certificates, and close-out documentation for submission to HQ and clients.
Provide technical support and design input for oil and gas-related projects such as offshore, onshore, marine, preservation, and lay-up operations.
Ensure all activities comply with company procedures, contractual obligations, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve project challenges to maintain smooth execution and meet client expectations.
Build and sustain strong relationships with existing clients and support business development initiatives in identifying new project opportunities in the Labuan region.
Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and tender submissions for potential projects.
Collaborate with the HQ project and finance teams to provide timely updates on project progress, budgets, and cost tracking.
Job Requirements:
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical. Marine or equivalent field).
Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Minimum 3-5 years' experience in project engineering within the oiland gas, marine, or related industries.
Professional Certifications: Relevant HSE, project management, or offshore certifications.
Familiar with project planning software and engineering drawings.
Solid knowledge of oil & gas equipment, marine operations, lay-up and preservation services.
Must be willing to travel frequently to project sites (domestic and international as required).
Possess own transport and valid driving license.
Flexible to work beyond normal office hours depending on project needs.
Self-motivated, pro-active, committed, and flexible with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multi-national and multi-cultural work environment.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
