Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities :

To assist Project Manager (PM), Design Engineer (DE) in matters relating to the design and development of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

To assist PM in analyzing Electrical/Mechanical project specifications, developing work schedules, and delegating tasks to different teams.

To assist PM in project scheduling, execution, documentation and tracking of all ongoing projects relating to Electrical/Mechanical works until completion.

To review the drawing specifications and making appropriate adjustments once the customer and their representative have seen them

To assist in conducting re-engineering of Electrical or Mechanical installation designs.

To co-ordinate with PM, Project Executive (PE), Project Supervisor (PS) and Sub-Contractors on the progress of installation work in accordance to specific designs.

To conduct regular inspections on site installation works and report on any deviations to Electrical/ Mechanical design drawings that may occur.
To assist PM/PE in scheduling Electrical project meetings and training sessions when necessary.

To work closely with PM/PE in identifying Variations Order (VO).
To assist PM/PE in ensuring that each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe.

To assist in the preparation of Electrical/Mechanical shop drawings and as-built drawings.

To assist PM/PE in keeping with the health and safety regulations compliance at the project site.

To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Quality System.

To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so set by the superior.

Job Competency:

Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years experience in Electrical/Mechanical engineering, design, or project coordination.
Able to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings.
Basic design knowledge and familiarity with shop drawings & as-built drawings.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Understanding of safety regulations and site compliance.
Willing to travel and be stationed at project sites as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
