Our success is built on combined local and international industry experience, and we're seeking a Project Engineer to lead project execution with technical expertise and strong project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Design:

Collaborate with project management team to understand project scope, timeline, and scaffolding requirements Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies Develop scaffolding plans and designs that meet safety standards, local regulations, and project needs Determine appropriate scaffolding systems based on height, load requirements, and site conditions

2. Safety Compliance:

Ensure all scaffolding designs and installations adhere to safety regulations, industry standards (DOSH, CIDB), and best practices Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents Ensure safe working environment for all site personnel

3. Material and Equipment Management:

Coordinate procurement of scaffolding materials and equipment to meet quality standards and project specifications Monitor inventory levels and manage distribution of scaffolding components to sites Liaise with warehouse and supply chain teams for efficient material flow

4. Construction Oversight:

Supervise erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on-site Ensure installations are executed correctly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and project managers

5. Quality Control:

Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding systems to verify stability, structural integrity, and compliance with design specifications Address issues or defects promptly to maintain safe and functional scaffolding setups Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation

6. Communication and Coordination:

Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors for proper coordination Communicate updates, changes, and progress to stakeholders Participate in project meetings and provide technical input

7. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of scaffolding designs, installations, inspections, and modifications Prepare progress reports detailing project status, challenges, and solutions Update Project Financial Control (PFC) systems as required

8. Problem Solving:

Identify potential issues related to scaffolding design or implementation Propose solutions and implement corrective actions promptly

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3 years of project engineering or site engineering experience Experience in construction industry (scaffolding/temporary works is an advantage) Proficiency in project management tools and software Knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and techniques Strong leadership and communication abilities Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects Willingness to travel to project sites across Malaysia
