Job Description

Manage worksites for new construction and remodeling projects, ensuring all activities align with project goals and objectives. Provide guidance to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain quality standards during groundwork and construction. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists; hire and coordinate labor schedules effectively. Conduct regular site visits, including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress inspections, punch walks, and closeouts; attend status and coordination meetings. Lead and coordinate engineering functions such as installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, design review, improvement, and vendor coordination. Facilitate clear communication among clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure specifications, budgets, and deadlines are understood and met. Monitor project progress against schedules, prepare progress reports, and implement measures to minimize delays. Organize and manage workforce to ensure work is executed according to drawings, specifications, procedures, and approved designs. Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections, ensuring a safe work environment and properly functioning tools and equipment. Apply knowledge of construction methods and technologies to interpret technical drawings, contracts, and project requirements. Manage change requests, ensuring all parties are informed of impacts on schedule and budget. Ensure any variations to original plans are properly verified, measured, and approved by the client before implementation. Review work and projects for technical accuracy, identify potential problems, and take lead in resolving issues. Coordinate all internal and external efforts for effective project execution. Oversee subcontracted works to ensure they are carried out according to the project schedule. Establish, implement, and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and standards. Manage relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders to maintain project alignment and satisfaction.
