Key Responsibilities
Project Management
: Plan, manage, and oversee electrical engineering projects from initiation to completion including installation, testing, and commissioning.
Design and Development
: Develop electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for various projects.
Coordination
: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective project communication and collaboration.
Compliance
: Ensure all electrical systems and installations comply with safety standards, regulations, and codes.
Troubleshooting
: Identify and resolve technical issues during the project lifecycle ensuring project milestones are met.
Documentation
: Prepare, maintain and review technical documents, drawings, reports, progress updates and technical specifications to support project delivery.
Quality Assurance
: Conduct inspections and testing to guarantee the quality and functionality of electrical systems.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Collaborate with the wider project team to optimise processes and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience
: At least 2 years of experience in electrical project management or a similar role.
Technical Skills
:
Proficiency in design and simulation software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and control panels.
