Day-to-Day - Project Executive
Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, and coordinating with management.
Maintain the project timeline by tracking progress and coordinating all related activities.
Prepare project progress updates and reports by gathering, reviewing, and summarizing information; identify quality concerns and potential risks.
Carry out ongoing inspections to ensure work is completed in accordance with required quality standards.
Manage and deliver projects efficiently within budget and schedule while meeting quality requirements and client expectations.
Coordinate with internal teams to understand project requirements and ensure smooth project execution.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities - Purchaser
Manage and oversee all day-to-day purchasing activities.
Source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure goods and services meet specifications.
Conduct cost comparisons, price negotiations, credit term discussions, cost-saving initiatives, and supplier evaluations.
Prepare and issue purchase orders to local and overseas suppliers, and follow up on confirmations.
Ensure deliveries are completed according to the planned schedule.
Attend meetings, manage correspondence, and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve design or site-related issues during the construction phase.
Coordinate with forwarding agents, shipping companies, suppliers, Customs & Port Authorities, and internal departments to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective delivery and clearance of goods.
Work closely with the Storekeeper to monitor stock levels and ensure all received items are properly recorded (GRN).
Ensure supplier invoices and supporting documents are submitted to the Accounts Department before the cutoff date.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly purchasing reports, attend relevant meetings, and support ISO audit activities.
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
Fresh graduates or entry-level candidates are welcome to apply; training will be provided.
Diploma or higher qualification in a related field.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Able to communicate and write in both English and Mandarin to liaise with local and overseas clients.
5-day work week.
