The Project Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of project logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and communication. This role ensures smooth and efficient execution of projects by liaising with internal departments, external clients, authorities, ports, and other stakeholders. The coordinator also supports the project department across commercial, operational, bulk commodity, e-commerce, and shipping agency functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Import and Export Operations
Manage end-to-end import and export processes, including trailer arrangements, customs declarations, and coordination with shipping companies and partners.
Prepare and confirm shipping instructions with customers, agents, and shippers promptly and accurately.
Ensure timely submission and delivery of all relevant documents to the required parties.
Monitor cargo movement and update logistics information systems accurately.
2. Project Coordination
Coordinate logistics and operations between project sites and ports.
Handle operational emergencies effectively and provide regular updates to superiors.
Support operations related to bulk commodities, e-commerce, and shipping agency services as required.
Ensure full compliance with company SOPs and continuously seek process improvements.
3. Commercial Support
Prepare quotations and participate in tendering processes.
Assist in billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
4. Project Operations
Indoor operations:
Manage documentation, coordination, and communication with clients and vendors.
Outdoor operations:
Work closely with team members at ports and project sites; liaise with clients, authorities, and transport providers.
Oversee project activities from the preparation phase through completion, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
Monitor and report project progress based on schedules, due dates, and material/resource requirements.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all project phases and prepare summary reports for management review.
5. Compliance and Continuous Improvement
Adhere to ISO management system standards.
Perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
