Job Description

An international high-tech enterprise for design, construction and management of smart factories is looking for a Project Manager (based in India) to drive project commitments and manage activities in India in terms of delivery time, cost, quality, safety and customer requirements. In this job, you will report directly to the General Manager. About the Project Manager (based in India) Role:
In this position, you will be the key person to be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, budget, document and liaise with a team of engineers, subcontractors, construction workers and customers for the timely execution and completion of a project implementation
• Ensure that each stage of the project is progressing on time, on budget and to the right quality standards and is tracked appropriately
• Report to the management and client on the progress of works
• Be the key person to compile and manage technical requirements with customers and project teams worldwide
• Provide necessary supervision to ensure a smooth transition from construction project conception to project completion
• Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with safety regulations

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong inter-personal communication skill along with high level of management skills to oversee the project, and be committed to achieve efficient and safe operation in line with the company\xe2\x80\x99s high level of technical standards. Key Requirements:

• Degree in HVAC/Electrical Engineering or any related field
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer or Project Manager
• Experience in factory renovation or clean room
• At least five years of experience in civil engineering, project management, architecture, and construction management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with project management within the onsite construction industry
• Excellent project management skills, and the capability to engage well across functional groups
• High team spirit and able to handle challenges
• Must have a good command of English and Chinese, as the candidate is required to work with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
