The role requires strong technical expertise in civil engineering and infrastructure works, as well as exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills. on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Initiation
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors during design and planning.
Secure necessary approvals from regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
2. Project Execution & Supervision
Lead and manage construction and infrastructure project execution in line with approved plans.
Oversee daily site operations to ensure compliance with schedule, budget, quality, and HSE regulations.
Coordinate activities across contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and implement corrective measures when required.
3. Cost, Contract & Procurement Management
Work with the Contracts & QS team on tendering, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Manage project budgets, control costs, and evaluate variation orders/claims.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
4. Stakeholder & Client Relations
Act as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, government agencies, and internal management.
Conduct regular site and progress meetings with stakeholders.
Address and resolve client concerns, disputes, or contractual issues effectively.
5. Quality, Safety & Compliance
Enforce compliance with building codes, statutory requirements, quality standards, and HSE policies.
Conduct site inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship and adherence to specifications.
Foster a strong safety-first culture across all project teams.
6. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and supervise project teams, including site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and encourage collaboration.
Develop team capabilities in technical and project management skills.

On-time and on-budget project delivery.
Compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Effective resolution of risks/issues with minimal disruption.
High levels of client and stakeholder satisfaction.
Cost control and resource optimization.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in
Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
.
8-12 years' experience
in managing building and/or infrastructure projects, with at least
3-5 years in a leadership role
.
Proven track record in delivering
medium to large-scale construction/civil engineering projects
.
Strong knowledge of
local building codes, environmental regulations, and compliance standards
.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD).
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
