We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in civil and structural construction to lead and oversee our on-site and off-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project planning, budgeting, coordination, and timely delivery of high-quality infrastructure and structural works. Key Responsibilities:
Lead, plan, and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring works are delivered within budget, on schedule, and to quality standards.
Oversee civil and structural construction activities including earthworks, foundation, drainage, roadworks, and building structures.
Mentor, lead, and supervise site teams, engineers to achieve project goals.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and relevant authorities to ensure smooth execution of works.
Monitor project progress, risk, safety, and compliance with regulatory and contract requirements.
Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and clients.
Lead project meetings and resolve technical or operational issues that arise on site.
Ensure proper documentation, including project reports, claims, variations, and correspondence.
Manage procurement schedules and control project costs.
Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships to ensure satisfaction and future project opportunities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Minimum 8 - 10 years of working experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role handling civil and structural projects.
Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure, building, or mixed development projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts (e.g. PAM, CIDB, JKR), and authority requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Able to work independently, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
Possess valid CIDB Green Card; Professional Engineer (PE) registration is an added advantage.
