Project Manager - Finance Transformation (Finance PMO)

The role we have available will offer exciting opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects including:
  • System changes: Embrace the chance to contribute to relatively straightforward projects in shaping future system changes.
  • Strategic Target Operating Model implementation : Be instrumental incentralizing and transitioning work within the finance team.
Mergers and acquisitions / Legal entity integration: Take the lead in planning and executing business combinations, involving people, process and system integration. * Manages projects end-to-end to deliver business outcomes, ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Develops and maintains detailed, robust risk plan and project plan including resources, scope, schedule, budget, cost, forecast assumptions, dependencies, etc., keeping plans updated through the project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects, including the establishment of project plans, milestones, and deliverables in consultation with business stakeholders and external partners, e.g. carriers.
  • Interacts and maintains ongoing communication at the appropriate levels within the team as well as with the senior stakeholders, and ensures everyone on the delivery team understands their roles and responsibility.
  • Undertakes weekly work streams and project meetings, documenting and following up on actions and risks identified from the meetings and escalate where needed, while ensuring remediation action plans are implemented.
  • Build relationships with business, operations, IT and vendor technical staff and management to determine and resolve issues associated with project implementation, manage and mitigate risk, and ensure that a change control process is in place.
  • Validates all project requirements, and aligns with global technology, data and global architecture as appropriate.
  • Facilitate and lead decision-making processes required to move projects along to completion, and ensure we progress the completion of the milestones with PACE on the related project/programs.
  • Ensures all supporting documentation is in place for all approvals, decisions or deviations from scope to allow successful quality assessments and tollgate reviews.
What you need to have:
  • 5 years+ dedicated project management experience leading multi-discipline teams within a financial services environment.
  • Project management experience in a multi-cultural and multi-site environment
  • Demonstrated ability in driving large-scale transformation projects
  • Domain knowledge in financial services or insurance preferred
  • Change management experience in technology and non-technology projects
  • Experience in stakeholder management, adhering to budget control, review and escalation
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skill
  • Managing prior projects/programs with a significant number of stakeholders presenting to and communicating with Senior leadership
  • Experience in ensuring adoption by stakeholders and user populations, and ensuring anticipated benefits are realized
