Job Description

The Project Manager to lead the construction and setup of the plant in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management within the manufacturing industry, with a particular focus on plant construction and engineering machinery. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the timely and successful completion of the project, from the initial planning stages through to full operational readiness.

• Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee plant construction from site selection to commissioning.
• Ensure project alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
• Monitor and manage project budgets and mitigate financial risks.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project team, promoting safety and excellence.
• Provide regular project updates and maintain accurate documentation.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Master\'s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• 8+ years of project management experience in manufacturing/construction, prior experience with plant construction is a huge added bonus
• Experience with engineering technology and large-scale projects is highly desirable.
• Strong project management, leadership, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Willingness to travel and relocate; knowledge of Malaysian regulations is advantageous.
• Proficient in English and Malay language Mandarin fluency is highly advantageous as key stakeholders are based in China.
