What this job involves:Providing a roadmap for successWorking with a team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll set the vision for every project and enforce a process thathelps everyone get to the finish line. This entails exploring stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 needs throughconducting meetings with relevant parties (clients, consultants, contractors, agencies), aswell as doing the necessary follow-through research and analysis. Afterward, you\xe2\x80\x99ll getdown to the project\xe2\x80\x99s nitty gritty\xe2\x80\x94such as the corresponding contract, cost, schedule, andhealth and safety requirements. And then you\xe2\x80\x99ll proceed to creating the execution planthat ensures delivery of outputs to the stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 expectations and meets our owncommercial objectives.While formulating strategies that will lead to the project\xe2\x80\x99s success, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also closelymanage the team and keep track of the project\xe2\x80\x99s progress\xe2\x80\x94from concept design, designdevelopment, construction documents, as-build drawings, and handing over ofdocuments. Likewise, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be expected to light the way during construction, and reviewall pending issues with the project team. Creating project monthlyand weekly status reports as well as project risk register and HS reports is also on you. Inthe case of exceptions and remediations, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to report them, as necessary. If not, you havegraduated with a degree in a related discipline, or have a mix of formal education andwork experience of more than eight years. At least seven years of previous workexperience is required.A technical and admin proA structured and organised approach with an eye for detail is crucial. Are you technologysavvy? Are you also familiar with the ins and outs of the government in terms of thearchitecture industry? How well can you interpret, coordinate and talk about constructiondrawings?
