Job Description

The applicant for this role will lead end-to-end procurement and project execution, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of all project activities. This role is accountable for project planning, vendor management, contract assurance, and stakeholder engagement to achieve successful outcomes aligned with business objectives.

• Lead and manage the full project life-cycle - from planning, sourcing, and execution to completion - ensuring deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, risk assessments, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee vendor selection, evaluation, and contract negotiation to secure favourable commercial terms and ensure supplier performance meets quality and compliance standards.
• Manage procurement activities including sourcing, bidding, and contract awards in alignment with company policies and governance requirements.
• Provide contract assurance through effective monitoring of contract performance, managing variations, and resolving disputes or claims promptly.
• Ensure accurate and timely project reporting by tracking key milestones, KPIs, and financial performance, providing actionable insights for management decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project and procurement risks while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Drive process and cost improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, operational excellence, and value delivery.
• Champion continuous improvement by adopting innovative tools, technologies, and best practices in project and procurement management.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement, project management, or contract management within an engineering, energy, or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract management, and sourcing strategies.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects within budget and schedule.
• Solid knowledge of contract law and commercial terms.
• Experience in international procurement and supplier management.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control.
