Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of system enhancements and service requests for enterprise applications.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand business needs and define scope and priorities for application releases.
Coordinate across internal teams (technical architects, tech leads, business analysts, developers) to deliver quality outcomes.
Apply industry best practices and project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) to manage schedules, deliverables, and scope.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for project updates, issue resolution, and scope discussions.
Provide timely and accurate project status reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
Manage and mentor cross-functional project teams (internal and external), with responsibility for performance feedback and team development.
Ensure optimal resource allocation and team alignment with project goals.
Own project financials including P&L, budget adherence, and forecasting.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues promptly to ensure successful delivery.
Evaluate and enhance project delivery processes for improved efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
10 to 15 years in IT project management focused on application development/enhancement.
Must have hands-on experience managing application projects (e.g., enterprise software, custom solutions).
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Strong understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proven ability to manage project teams, including cross-functional and vendor resources.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in Java application environments and enterprise systems.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, complex environments with multiple priorities.
