Job Description


To support the Company for the overall delivery of all phases for a project or projects from initial establishment of requirements and feasibility studies completion. The role provides coordinating thought and leadership to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the projects and focuses these to produce a maximum value result. Set up projects to internal governance process and be responsible for project(s) programme, resource management, risk management and project monthly reports. Ensure that the project team work effectively: \xef\x82\xa7 To determine the needs requirements and constraints of the porject. \xef\x82\xa7 To represent the Company from inception to completion of the project. \xef\x82\xa7 To manage the pre-design, design, construction and completion stages of the project. \xef\x82\xa7 To represent and promote the company throughout the project. \xef\x82\xa7 To achieve company profit targets set for the project. \xef\x82\xa7 Assemble and effectively lead the project teams to achieve the best possible performance from all members. \xef\x82\xa7 Provide a clear plan for all relevant activities by setting objectives, programming, and budgeting to achieve these goals. \xef\x82\xa7 Within each project, establish an effective organisation structure for reporting and responsibility and authority, and to establish working procedures. \xef\x82\xa7 Monitor and report on the programs of the projects to measure the performance compared to programs and budgets, and to take corrective action. \xef\x82\xa7 Monitor and report on the Company resources engaged in the projects, and to allocate these resources to complete the project within the Company budget. A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT \xef\x82\xa7 Ensure Safety and Environmental Plans are in place for each project and being complied with. \xef\x82\xa7 Maximise project profitability. \xef\x82\xa7 Illustrating ability to manage the contractual risks involved in completing assign projects. \xef\x82\xa7 Assemble and effectively lead consultants, contractors and suppliers to achieve the best possible performance from all members of the project team. \xef\x82\xa7 Within each project, establish an effective organisation structure for reporting, communication and working procedures specific to project and client requirements. \xef\x82\xa7 Establish a detailed overall project programme that sets clear milestones and objectives to ensure successful project delivery. \xef\x82\xa7 Manage professional consultants necessary for the design and documentation of the project. \xef\x82\xa7 Carry out value engineering, buildability analysis, and critically review the design and documentation to minimise risk and maximize outcomes. \xef\x82\xa7 Carry out contract administration of all vendors professionally and in accordance with legal requirements to protect commercial interests of the Company \xef\x82\xa7 Produce detailed periodic reports for projects covering programme, resources and risks. \xef\x82\xa7 Manage the preparation of Client Consultant Meeting reports and chair CCM meetings as required. \xef\x82\xa7 Chair project meetings as required. \xef\x82\xa7 Review and negotiate project requirements with authorities. \xef\x82\xa7 Manage the construction phase of the project and ensure controls are in place for appropriate quality control so projects are completed timely \xef\x82\xa7 Identify, mitigate and report on project risks to ensure the delivery of projects on time and under budget. LEADERSHIP \xef\x82\xa7 Create an environment where all team members are encouraged to contribute. \xef\x82\xa7 Sets objectives and measurable goals and motivate project team to achieve them. \xef\x82\xa7 Acts as leadership role model for the Company by behaving consistently with cultural requirements. \xef\x82\xa7 Coach and develop staff and provides regular feedback and guidance. \xef\x82\xa7 Encourage the use of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s systems, processes and technology. PERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS \xef\x82\xa7 Set stretch targets for self and others, and rigorously monitor and manage individual and team performance. \xef\x82\xa7 Develops and monitors plans for team operations \xef\x82\xa7 Seek advice and collaborate with other senior staff in exploring solutions to problems and areas of risk that arise. \xef\x82\xa7 Delegate to others in the team in a logical and effective manner that empowers positive contribution. \xef\x82\xa7 Be prepared to make tough decisions that resolve problems or improve operations.
