Job Description


The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing high-impact projects that are critical to the strategic direction of the organization. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work closely with senior leadership to ensure the successful execution of the Chairman\'s strategic initiatives.PRIMARY KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Project Management: Lead and manage key strategic projects as directed by the Executive Chairman, ensuring alignment with the organization\'s vision and objectives.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to the Executive Chairman, providing insights on project status, risks, and recommendations for action.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with senior executives, department heads, and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, providing timely solutions to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Resource Optimization: Coordinate with various departments to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring that projects have the necessary support to meet their objectives.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress, ensuring that projects are on track to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and ensure that all communications and project details are managed with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, driving innovation and enhancing the effectiveness of project management practices.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master\'s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact projects on time and within budget
  • Strong communication, networking, and listening skills
  • Experience planning and facilitating meetings and community gatherings
  • Strong understanding of strategic project management and governance
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
