Salary : 15k-18k Chinese Speaking Job Title : Project Manager, Mechanical Function : Projects and Construction Reports to : Senior Manager / Director, Projects and Construction Location of work : Bukit Jalil & Kulai Johor We are seeking for an experience Mechanical Project Manager with Mechanical engineering background to plan, manage and oversee new Data Centre Construction and Fit-out Projects. The Mechanical Project Manager will form part of a Project Team who will be responsible for the provision of project planning and management of projects and/or initiatives by making sure that projects and/or initiatives are in line with company plans and priorities. He/she will be involved and to ensure that selected projects and initiatives are executed within the time frame that is allocated to them, and that they fall within the organization\xe2\x80\x99s budget. The role of a Mechanical Project Manager also entails making sure that there is a balance in the sustainability, scheduling, and performance of each project that is being embarked on. It also includes analysing various solutions to problem as to why a particular solution (means of tackling a problem at hand) was chosen over others. The Mechanical Project Manager shall organize and manages all levels or forms of service delivery which includes the design, analysis, training, testing, and setting-up of solutions pertaining to Mechanical services. He/she will also be involving in various stages of project management functions, including project planning, budgets, scheduling, risk management, resource management, sequential status reports, and both internal and external communication linkages in the company. He/she sets standards for each project the company embarks on and monitors the input of different teams within the organization in order to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the project as planned. The Mechanical Project Manager works hand in hand with different stakeholders (both internal and external) in a bid to increase efficiency in the delivery of projects and ensure that there is an improvement in customer satisfaction. The role of Mechanical Project Managers is one that is quite complex and needs efficiency in both technical and management fields. Academic qualification & Requirements: \xe2\x96\xaa Good and effective communication and leadership skills. \xe2\x96\xaa Good interpersonal skills so as to be able to relate with people or personnel from different units of the company. \xe2\x96\xaa Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills \xe2\x96\xaa Good knowledge and understanding of relevant MEP engineering applications \xe2\x96\xaa Ability to build relationship across many fronts \xe2\x96\xaa Ability to focus and pay attention to details at all times. \xe2\x96\xaa Ability to work in a team as well as an individual with little or no supervision \xe2\x96\xaa Minimum of Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Facilities Management or related engineering disciplines \xe2\x96\xaa More than 5 years of relevant working experience in a project management role for mission critical facilities. \xe2\x96\xaa Experience in construction management process during construction stage from mobilization, construction / installation, testing & commissioning to closeout and handover \xe2\x96\xaa Any other certification would be a plus. Job Scope: Report and support Bridge Data Centres Head of Projects on matters pertaining to all Datacentre projects. Prepare project scope, requirement, schedule, budget and delivery strategy for new projects or response to Client Request for Proposal. Prepare request for proposal / quotation document for consultant\xe2\x80\x99s services and manage the consultants appoint process. Manage due diligence and feasibility studies prior to commencement of projects. Prepare request for proposal document for contractors, vendors, suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 procurement and manage the procurement process. Carry out all aspects of project management and construction management during construction, including but not limited to:

  • Prepare project execution plan
  • Prepare project master schedule
  • Prepare project cost plan
  • Assist EHS manager with EHS manual preparation to project specific
  • Review of contractor\xe2\x80\x99s construction planning documentation
  • Manage contractors during construction
  • Regular site inspection for construction progress and installation quality
  • Review of contractors testing and commissioning plan, schedule and method statement
  • Manage contractors testing and commissioning
  • Chair technical coordination meetings or design workshops with contractors/ vendors /
suppliers
  • Chair Client process meeting
  • Prepare weekly and monthly report for Client and Bridge Date Centres management
  • Evaluate contractors\xe2\x80\x99 payment claim and prepare payment certificate
  • Evaluate consultants\xe2\x80\x99 payment claim recommends for payment
  • Establish work schedule, monitor work progress on site, examine and certify works done,
and to attend Factory Acceptance test, Site Acceptance test and Integrated System Test, if any.
  • Ensure project closure and hand over to Facility Manager with as-built drawings,
schematics and reports, including commissioning of assets. Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM15,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month Language:
