Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.Join us as Project Manager for the Process Automation Business Area where you will be leading the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. Reporting to the Operations &Solutions Manager-Excitation and this position will be based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.Your responsibilities

• Leading the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals
• Involving in continuous improvement and simplification. Supporting improving guidelines, tools, and templates. Ensuring compliance to relevant cyber security regulations, standards, and contractual requirements
• Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies. Effectively monitors and controls project progress and efficient resource utilization
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders
• Creating project HSE Plans and ensuring that common HSE policies and reporting are implemented across the project with all stakeholders, including collaboration/consortium partners and sub-suppliers
• Demonstrating and proactively applies immediate recovery actions to mitigate schedule delays and cost overruns
• Planning and tracking all project activities, establishing scheduling risks and opportunities to deliver projects on time according to commitments to the customer and ABB
• Identifying and planning all document deliverables required by the contractual scope of work and incorporates this plan into the overall project plan/schedule.Tracking document progress and follows-up on overdue comments from customer

Your background

• Bachelor or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management role, working as Project Manager within the oil & Gas, utilities, and other industrial market
• PM certification \xe2\x80\x93 PMP or equivalent PM certification from large MNC companies like ABB
• Knowledge of using Microsoft projects, SAP (mandatory), and PR+ will be added advantage or having used similar enterprise resource & data management system for PM process implementation
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Project execution experiences with local MY regulations standards shall be an added advantage
