UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide management information on new services pipeline, transition progress and post transition support
  • Drive the operationalization of the Service Introduction framework, which includes creation and operationalization of the Service Introduction process that has been defined
  • Adopt standard best practice process management in the implementation of new and changed services including risk management, governance quality assurance, issue resolution and reporting
  • Create Service Introduction documentation that identifies changes to existing services and assesses the impact on the existing service model
  • Ensure that new and changed services are fit for purpose, validated, and approved
  • Work with delivery teams, customers, and third parties to gain agreement on roles, responsibilities, and service levels for new and changed services
  • Create introduction plans based on the Service Design, that identifies project deliverables, action owners, delivery timescales
  • Coordinate the delivery of the introduction plans, taking corrective action as needed to ensure on time delivery
  • Contribute to helping shape the processes, risk and governance around Service Introduction
  • Work closely with product and service owners to suggest, collate and validate IT services deliver the right business outcomes both internally and externally
Job Requirements

Education
  • Degrees from any recognised University or recognised establishment (Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field will be beneficial)
  • Professional certifications in the field of Project Management (e.g. PMP, CAPM) or IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL) will be an advantage
Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 8 - 12 years of relevant project management or PMO management experience.
  • Experience in designing or executing new IT service onboarding process.
  • Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS project.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills to positively influence people to make the appropriate decisions and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Performance-driven balanced with proven success of working effectively in a cross-functional team in an international environment.
  • Process-oriented and possesses a strategic mindset with the ability to have a holistic view.
  • Ability to deliver and articulate a presentation confidently and effectively to a wider project committee and management.
  • Relevant experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
