This role supports the Project Manager Lead in coordinating delivery activities across assigned projects. The Project Manager Support is responsible for maintaining project discipline, tracking dependencies, supporting testing and cutover activities, and ensuring t imely reporting and documentation. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business, IT, and the central programme team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
:
1. Delivery Coordination & Dependency Tracking
Support day-to-day delivery activities across workstreams and external teams
Maintain detailed logs of interdependencies, risks, and issues
Escalate blockers to the Project Manager Lead with recommended actions
2. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Assist in preparing project updates, dashboards, and materials for governance forums and working groups
Coordinate inputs from delivery teams and ensure timely communication to stakeholders
Tailor messaging for different audiences, ensuring clarity and consistency
3. Testing & Defect Management
Support planning and execution of SIT and UAT phases in collaboration with the Test Lead
Track test progress, defect status, and resolution timelines
Maintain documentation hygiene across test cycles, including traceability and sign-offs
4. Business Readiness & Cutover Support
Assist in business readiness activities including training coordination, communications, and stakeholder engagement
Support cutover planning and execution, ensuring alignment across business and IT teams
Help facilitate go-live readiness assessments and post-go-live support tracking
5. Data Migration & Validation
Coordinate with data teams to support migration planning, reconciliation, and validation activities
Track data-related issues and ensure timely resolution
6. Reporting & Documentation
Consolidate inputs into structured reports and dashboards for leadership and programme forums
Maintain project documentation including RAID logs, meeting minutes, and decision records
Ensure consistency and audit-readiness of all project artifacts
7. Collaboration with Central Programme Team
Work closely with the central programme team to align on governance standards, reporting formats, and delivery expectations
Support cross-project coordination and contribute to programme-wide initiatives as needed
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Familiarity with project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches)
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) or formal training in programme or portfolio management
Certification in Change Management or Business Analysis (e.g., Prosci, CBAP)
Experience
3-5 years of experience in project coordination or support roles within large-scale programmes
Experience supporting testing, data migration, and cutover activities
Exposure to finance transformation or ERP implementation projects is a plus
Comfortable working in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and delivery teams
Strong documentation discipline and familiarity with governance processes Proficiency Project Management Tools
Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools for tracking, documentation, and reporting
Able to maintain structured logs, dashboards, and traceability matrices Presentation & Communication Tools
Skilled in preparing clear and professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation Collaboration & Coordination
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with business users, IT teams, vendors, and the central programme office
Comfortable supporting multiple workstreams and managing competing priorities
