Job Description

Job Responsibilities



Prepare work schedule using MS Project to manage an integrated master schedule and the supporting detailed schedules, including daily and weekly reports; liaise with project teams, and work closely with the Project Manager.

Create detailed project plans and ensure that project team members follow the activities outlined in the plans to deliver project on schedule and within budget.

Carry out basic take off quantities from drawings, either using AutoCad or PDF tools.

Prepare daily activity tracking sheet; liaise with project teams on daily progress status.

Ensure the project is kept on track by producing reports and using project management tools to keep all other teams involved in the project on track.

Demonstrate engineering experience delivering technically challenging construction program.

Prepare weekly reports, including manpower, equipment and weather.

Prepare two (2) weeks look-ahead project schedule.

Manage the project schedule and scope of work.

Check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Project Manager.

Attend and coordinate all site matters with Contractors, Consultants and relevant authorities.

Maintain appropriate documentation of project progress according to schedules, mile stone claim documentation and other reports for reference.

Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets and quality standards.

Cooperate and communicate with the Project Manager and other project team members and collaborate with Sub-contractors and suppliers to create more efficient project methods.

Support the project teams in the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of projects.

Maintain accurate records and update all documents accordingly.

Undertake other related jobs from time to time as directed by the Project Manager or Directors.

Job Requirements



Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.

Must be a CIDB green card holder.

Minimum three (3) years working experience in Civil Engineering, in similar position or related working experience and handling fast track project.

Self-confident, pro-active, reliable, good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good time management and organization skills.

Analytical, oriental details and writing skills, including solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project, AutoCad and Primavera.

Proficiency in English and Malay.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,753.33 - RM6,132.93 per month
